After unsuccessful attempts with other vendors, the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) approached Redshift to develop an electronic system for infertility treatment and outcome data collection. By creating this system, SART hoped to become the first contractor to help fertility clinics comply with the Fertility Clinic Success Rate Reporting Act (FCSRA) passed by the U.S. Congress.

Redshift worked closely with SART's physician leadership to understand treatment types and algorithms as well as the nature of the outcomes. Based on that knowledge, we designed and built a prototype for the data collection system. The CDC's Division of Reproductive Health and the general membership of SART reviewed and approved the prototype.

Today, SART CORS is an online application that meets the challenge of HIPPA compliance protecting patient information for over 350 clinics. National success rates are both exported to the CDC ensuring clinic's compliance with the law, but they are also published at SART's website (www.sart.com) to provide added value to patients and clinics alike.
